It is a city devoted to tourism and it has five kms (3 miles) of interrupted sandy beach. The nearby Terra Mitica theme park is one of the biggest in the Med. The weather in Benidorm is hot in summer and mild for the rest of the year with temperatures not dropping below 19°C/66° F, even in winter. Daytime activities in Benidorm are numerous from water-sports to theme parks, while the evenings can provide everything from a quiet bar with piano music to a lively club for the energetic.
